Digitalfreemasonry.com has launched the Official Digital Freemasonry NFT Marketplace. On the occasion of the establishment of a new and emerging Masonic direction known as Digital Freemasonry, the Official Digital Freemasonry Community (ODFC) is offering its inaugural NFT collection.
The Digital Freemasonry NFT tokens are based on Ethereum ERC tokens and require a MetaMask wallet to set up in advance to hold the NFT tokens. If the concept of a MetaMask wallet is new to you then please Google “MetaMask” and look at the YouTube videos for help in setting this up.

Digital Freemasonry is not an organization, it is a new form of Freemasonry, transformed from Speculative Freemasons – which evolved from Operative guilds.
Operative Masons were governed by the guilds, which were very much trade and geographically restricted. They would offer membership into their particular craft, and would control the activity of its members through a set of rules and regulations.
Speculative Freemasons are governed by Grand Lodges. These Grand Lodges, of which there are many thousands, are also very much geographically restricted, offer membership to the craft and control the activity of its members.
Digital Freemasonry is an emerging evolution from Speculative Freemasonry, still very much at the embryonic stage, will also be governed by “Digital” Grand Lodges. Unlike Operative Guilds and Speculative Grand Lodges which were very much geographically restricted, Digital Freemasonry, by its very nature has no geographic restrictions, as it works on the internet, and with the use of translation tools will not suffer language restrictions ether.
The only restriction (that I foresee at the present time) to Digital Grand Lodge membership will be based on gender, (male only, mixed, female only) and if the member is required to have a belief in a deity or not. I think this is a natural choice for members to make when choosing a Digital Grand Lodge.
The Official Community of Digital Freemasonry (ODFC) will accept membership into a lodge based on: male only and those that have a belief in a deity.
Goals of Digital Freemasonry (ODFC)
In order to preserve and further develop Digital Freemasonry, ODFC have built digital tools adapted to the new digital age, both for the benefit of current and future generations of Freemasons.
In doing so, ODFC has launched the Masonic Passport iOS and Android App and Initiation Tool, which are already in use.
In order for every Digital Freemason to get an equal chance to participate and help develop the ODFC project, and in return be rewarded, ODFC decided to create a sustainable ecosystem within which we will enable buying, selling, collecting, and exchanging various types of Masonic NFTs through the ODFC NFT marketplace.
What is the point of Digital Freemasonry (ODFC) NFTs?
A common question asked by first-time NFT buyers is “Why would I buy NFT when I can easily download it to my own computer?”
By purchasing a Digital Freemasonry (ODFC) NFT, you get the following multiple benefits:
- Simple proof of ownership recorded on the Ethereum Blockchain
- The opportunity to create collections through your own personalized gallery
- The possibility of later exchange or resale to other collectors
Dividend authorization status (described at a later date)
Collection 333 “Founder of Digital Freemasonry (ODFC)” NFT
The first Digital Freemasonry (ODFC) collection is special, as it brings a unique status and classifies every owner of the NFT as the “Founder of Digital Freemasonry (ODFC)”.
The collection is limited to 333 “Founder of Digital Freemasonry (ODFC)” NFTs.
The collection consists of four categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Premium and each category is represented by one of four elements: Earth, Air, Water and Fire.
Each of the four elements has its own symbolism, but united they represent much more than it seems at first glance.
Thus Earth, Air, Water and Fire traditionally correspond to what we call the four corners of the world, the four seasons, the four natural kingdoms (mineral, plant, animal and human), the four levels of man (body, intellect, feelings, spirituality), the four phases of human consciousness (objective, subjective, subconscious, and cosmic) and the four life cycles (childhood, youth, adulthood, and old age).
Therefore, it can be said that this is a fourfold law that you can own by buying an NFT from each category, and thus own the “Collection”.
It is possible to purchase one or more official NFTs from the first collection of “Founder of Digital Freemasonry” on their Marketplace.
